How to Throw a Pizza Party

How to Throw a Pizza Party

You can’t beat a good old-fashioned pizza party. Everyone gets to put together their own personal pizza, cook it up just right, and enjoy some good company outdoors.

But that takes a lot of work right? There’s a lot of variables to consider to make sure that everybody has a good time. So we’ve put together a few steps to help you simplify your party planning.

Step 1: Food Prep

The first step is, of course, the food prep. You can easily make the dough you need a day or two ahead of time and refrigerate it (dough can last a week or two in the fridge). Then, you can purchase all the ingredients you need for whatever toppings, sauces, and cheeses your guests want. We’d recommend trying a few of these pizzas to wow your guests. Just remember to take your dough out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before the party! It needs plenty of time to come back to room temperature.

Then, simply cut and cook any meats or veggies that need to be fully cooked before the party. Put together any specialty sauces and let them sit in the fridge.

Step 2: Clear a Space

Next, it’s time to figure out how much room you and your guests are going to need. We recommend making a fun prep station for everyone to make their own pizzas. Get a good sized table with all the different toppings, and sauces clearly marked for guests. If you want, you can pre-spread the dough, or let your guests do it themselves.

Step 3: Make a Playlist

Finally, it’s time to make a killer playlist for your guests while you crank out the pizzas.

Good luck on your next pizza party, and let us know if you have any other tips in the comments below!
